Event Description:
The Memphis Thunder Racing Kids Triathlon is an inspiring event for youth triathletes. One of Cory’s dreams was to offer a kids triathlon and we have successfully been promoting the sport of triathlon and keeping his spirit alive through the Thunder Kids Tri since 2005.
2024 marks the 19th annual race that brings together youth, families, and the community in an amazing spectacle of the sport of triathlon. The smiles on the kids faces as they cross the finish line are priceless!
Two distances will be offered by age group

Kids may complete the entire event as an individual or pair up with 2 others as a relay team.

Compton Aquatic Center, St. George’s Independent School, Collierville Campus (1880 Wolf River Blvd.)
Dear Memphis Thunder Racing Kids Triathlon Participants,
I am sad to report that we are going to need to change the triathlon (swim/bike/run) into a duathlon (run/bike/run) due to the delay in the St. George’s pool construction.
I have attached maps of the new short run course for the Junior and Senior divisions which will replace the swim
The bike, transition area, and 2nd run will all remain the same.
If you are a relay swimmer you will now be the first runner on the team.
Again, we are truly sorry for any inconvenience. We were all hoping and praying that the pool would be finished in time. We look forward to seeing all of the kids on Sunday and their smiles as they cross that finish line!
